SCYO is a research-led architecture practice established by Sharona Cramer and Yotam Oron in 2020

Sharona Cramer

is an architect based in Tel Aviv and New York. Sharona has worked in leading architecture offices in Tel Aviv where she led projects in various scales, among working on the winning proposal for the Mikve Israel new school campus, which she is currently leading at Studio PEZ.

Sharona received her B.Arch from the Bezalel Academy of Arts with honors and is a recipient of the Azrieli Foundation Prize, 2020 for her graduation project Dead Space.

Sharona was a founding team member and a studio mentor at the Negev School of Architecture, Beer Sheva, an experimental new architecture school, where she has been teaching and researching since it's opening in 2021.

 

Currently, Sharona is writing her thesis at Yale School of Architecture's M.arch II program.

Yotam Oron

is an architect based in Tel Aviv and New York. Yotam has worked in leading architecture offices in Tel Aviv, where he led projects of various scales. He is engaged in architecture research, having previously collaborated on research with Prof. Arch. Michael Turner, UNESCO Chair.

 

Yotam received his B.Arch from the Bezalel Academy of Arts with honors and was a recipient of the Azrieli Foundation prize for his graduation project Dead Space. Yotam is a recipient of the 'Joseph Vaada Bolafio Prize' for outstanding excellence in his History and Theory studies at Bezalel.

 

Currently, Yotam is writing his thesis at Yale School of Architecture's M.arch II program.
